Flower Mound, TX-Michael Leon Markel, age 55, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, in Flower Mound.
He was born January 3, 1958 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania to Harold Leon Markel and Muriel Kaye Steedman Markel. Michael was sealed to Connie Lee for time and all eternity on August 15, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughter, Stacy Lee Markel; sons, Spencer Leon Markel and wife, Janette and Nathan Leon Markel; parents, Harold and Kaye Markel and brother, Gary Lee Markel and wife, Cheryl.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Lewisville Texas Stake Center. Michael will then be returned home to Midvale, Utah. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, Utah 84123, with burial immediately following.
