Vickie Lynn Taylor Rasmussen 1957 ~ 2010 On October 7, 2010, in Murray Utah, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend, Vickie Lynn Taylor Rasmussen went home to our Heavenly Father. Vickie was born on her father's birthday, December 28, 1957 to Joseph John Taylor Jr. and Beverly Child Taylor. She was the eldest of six children and her father's pride and joy. Vickie loved to be with little children and held a special place in her heart for her younger sister Pam. Vickie was always there for members of her family in times of need, and it was very obvious how much she loved them. She is survived by her parents, Gary Rasmussen, her siblings Karen (Russell) Payne, Christie Curtis, John (Cindy) Taylor, Laureen Taylor, Pam Taylor and her three special sisters, Diana, Joyce and Janet, and her dear friend Brent Davidson. Vickie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked at the Murray Library for 34 years where she met her best friend Sharon Williams. We will all miss you, we know you are in a better place, and we will be with you again. We love you Vickie. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. at the Midvalley 1st Ward, 1050 East Chapel Hill Drive (7410 South), with a viewing on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary at 4760 South State and one hour prior to the services at the church.
