Six months following graduations from High School I left for a church mission in Central Florida. Six months following my return from the mission I married Robyn Spray--best decision I ever made. We have been in the business of raising children, now grandchildren ever since.

28 years ago I began a career as a financial advisor. I am the founding advisor of Oquirrh Wealth Advisors. I own an Ameriprise Franchise. I am a Certified Financial Planner(TM) Professional and an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor(TM). Most of our clients are either retired or soon to retire. The career has been a great fit for me.

A few years ago I got angry with the city leadership in South Jordan and decided to run for City Council--I won (or lost depending on how you view the results). Takes a big portion of my time and is often difficult, really hard to please everyone.

Fun activities for me include: travel, golf, snow skiing, hiking, biking (both road and off road), running, camping, fly fishing and time with my family. The good news is that Robyn (my wife) loves to do most of these things with me!

If you know me you will know the crowd I ran with in high school did not often get me into trouble. You will probably laugh to think that this story was pretty "out there" for us.

One night we decided to toilet paper the yards of the drama teacher (can't recall his name) and the choir director (Mr. Dean). We did the drama teacher first and then went to Mr. Dean's home. Both homes were decorated nicely. After leaving Mr. Dean's home we noticed a construction site that had some flasher barricades and thought they would make a great addition to the two toilet paper jobs. We stopped and grabbed a couple and drove to the drama teacher's home and left the barricade on the front porch. The flashing light looked really fun reflecting off the long streams of TP. We then headed back to Mr. Dean's home. We were astonished to find that his home was completely cleaned up! It must have been about 2am by then and there was not one piece of TP on that yard. Needless to say, we did not deposit the flasher barricade, but headed home kind of freaked out. Mr. Dean had to have been watching us the whole time. Crazy. He never mentioned the midnight clean up to any of us.
